It’s Groundhog Day….
The club will be closed to members from 4pm tonight except for emergency callouts, rescue training (formal approved activities only – outdoors in groups <10), and club duties (specified by a Director). This will remain in place until the stay-at-home order is lifted. This is to ensure that the club is available for essential emergency and lifesaving activities, and to protect members. Today the NSW government has introduced stay-at-home orders for at least one week for those who live in, or whose usual place of work is in, Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick and City of Sydney Councils. Due to the risk associated with an increasing number of exposure venues where transmission has occurred, from 11.59pm tonight until at least 11.59pm on Friday 2 July, residents of, or people whose usual place of work is in, the four LGAs must stay at home unless it is fo r an essential reason. The reasons you may leave your home include: Shopping for food or other essential goods and services; Medical care or compassionate needs; Exercise outdoors in groups of 10 or fewer; Essential work, or education, where you cannot work or study from home. If you attend club for any reason you MUST use the QR code registration. There can be no tailgating with other members entry, and no non-members. These rules have been in place for a long time but are now vital to ensure that tracing activities can be completed. Some specifics to be clear: Club access via members tags is not allowed, even if your tag works you are not to access t he club unless you are on a formally approved emergency callout, training or director lead club duty. Changerooms are closed. Steam Room is closed. Club Gymnasium is closed. Classes - Pilates & Zumba are cancelled. Yellow Boards - is cancelled. Any other activity - assume cancelled until you get a communication otherwise. Office - will be operating remotely - email@example.com for requests Thanks,
