We lower the flag today to pay our respects to Gavin Thomson, a Long Service member of our club, North Bondi SLSC and Palm Beach Surf Club (50 years with Palm Beach). Gavin passed away suddenly on Tuesday. Gavin has quietly enjoyed the waves with the rest of the BREMS gang every morning and we will miss his smile.
The club also passes its sympathy to the family of ex-Lifeguard Terry McDermott who passed away from cancer yesterday.
