Congratulations to our three new JetSki (RWC) operators – Julie Pritchard, Kristy Smith and our IRB Captain Alex Ayscough – who have finished their chilly winter training course. This is the most technically challenging qualification in surf, requiring all the first aid and beach management awards, as well as the IRB crew and Driver awards (and over 3 years patrolling as an IRB driver) before even starting.
After graduation they will be expected to be a single person Patrol operating from Sydney heads to the Royal National Parks.
They join their amazing trainer Nixy in showing the Bondi flag as part of Sydney Support Operations.
