Activations at the Bondi Surf Club Forecourt

The Bondi Surf Club forecourt offers an exceptional opportunity for brands to connect with an engaged audience in one of Australia’s most iconic beachside locations. Positioned directly beside Bondi Beach, the forecourt provides a high-visibility environment where brands can create memorable, interactive experiences that naturally become part of the Bondi beach lifestyle.

On a busy summer weekend, the forecourt can experience foot traffic of up to 50,000 people, providing brands with an extraordinary opportunity to reach a large and diverse audience. From product sampling and demonstrations to pop-ups, competitions, photo opportunities and immersive brand experiences, the space can be tailored to bring a campaign to life.

Important Information when planning your activation:

• Every activation on the forecourt requires a council permit which The Bondi Surf Club submits on behalf of the brand. Please leave 3 weeks for this to process.
• The Council does not permit the sampling and advertising of coffee, tobacco, alcohol and gambling products.
• There are certain restrictions around sampling quantities and sizes (1000 units/day and sample sizes of 60ml or 100g or less)
• Sample packing needs to be approved and no single use plastics are permitted.
•  The activation area is in front of the surf club, allowing clearways for foot traffic, either side of the club and in front.
• The club has several power point outlets that can be used
• A waste management and risk assessment plan is required when applying for your permit.
• Each permit requires a Public Liability Certificate of $20 million and that includes Waverly Council as an interested party.
• Noise work/building restricted to 7am to 10pm.
