2026/27 Membership renewals
May 2026
Dear Members,
Thank you for your continued support over the past season. Once again, our Club has played an important role on the beach and in our community, and we look forward to continuing that work into the 2026/27 season and beyond.
As we prepare for the season ahead, I want to acknowledge and thank our patrolling members for the time and commitment you dedicate to keeping our beach safe. Your contribution remains at the heart of everything we do as a Club.
I am pleased to confirm that there will be no change to membership fees for the 2026/27 season. The Board has taken a measured approach, balancing the rising costs of operating the Club with the importance of keeping membership accessible for all.
Membership renewals are now open and are due by Friday, 31 July 2026, ahead of the Annual General Meeting. We encourage all members to renew early to ensure continuity of access and to assist the team in preparing for the season ahead.
As part of the Club’s ongoing commitment to governance, child safety and compliance obligations, all members aged 18 years and over are required to hold a current Working With Children Check. This is an important responsibility we share as a community organisation working closely with young people and families. Information on how to apply for or renew your Working With Children Check is included in the following pages.
As always, even if no fee applies to your membership category, renewal is still required. Further details on fees, categories and how to renew are outlined in the following pages.
We appreciate your ongoing support and look forward to welcoming you back for another strong season.
Yours sincerely,
Liz Webb
President
Bondi SBLSC membership renewal for season 2026-27 is now open
Membership renewals for 2026/27 are now open and are due by 31 July 2026, ahead of the Annual General Meeting. Any members with membership fees outstanding by this date will have their club access revoked and membership fees paid after this date will incur an administration fee of $50. In line with SLSNSW policy, any memberships not renewed by 30 October 2026 will be archived.
This year, all members aged 18 years and over are required to hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC). This check is free of charge but it can take up to 4 weeks for the process to be completed so we recommend starting the application as soon as possible. Instructions for applying are provided on the following pages.
To renew and pay your 2026/27 membership fees, review the fees and instructions on the following pages. Remember, even if you are not required to pay a membership fee, you will still need to renew your membership.
When you pay your membership fees, you can also pay for any additional fees such as gym membership, locker renewal fees and parking stickers. The 2026/27 parking stickers are valid until 31st May 2027.
If you have difficulties with the online system or have questions about membership categories, please email info@bondisurfclub.com.
In respect to membership renewals, please note the following:
- If any member is experiencing financial hardship affecting their ability to pay the stated fees, please contact manager@bondisurfclub.com
- Renewals must be completed online via the SLS Hub (previously known as the SLSA Member Portal). Please note that memberships are not finalised until both the membership renewal is completed and payment has been received, further instructions are provided below.
- It may take up to 4 weeks for the WWCC process and up to 15 working days to finalise membership renewals and update tags, so we encourage all members to renew as soon as possible to ensure continuity of access.
- Please refer to the Key Information sheet and Member Handbook to understand the benefits and obligations associated with your membership.
- Please remember that access to the Surf Club and specifically change rooms and steam room is a Members only benefit. Any Members found to be allowing non-Members to access the change rooms, gym and/or steam room may have their Club access deactivated for a penalty period.
