Become a Lifesaver at Bondi
Join Bondi Surf Bathers Life Saving Club (BSBLSC) and become part of a proud tradition of keeping our beaches safe. To become a patrolling member, you’ll need to complete either the SLSA Bronze Medallion (Certificate II in Public Safety and Aquatic Rescue) or the Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC).
Become an Associate Member
Associate Membership is open to individuals aged 28 and over who would like to be part of the Club community without taking on any lifesaving duties. This category includes a one-off joining fee and an annual membership fee.
As an Associate Member, you’ll enjoy access to Club facilities such as the changerooms, steam room, and lockers, along with concessional beach parking. Gym access is also available for an additional annual fee.
While Associate Members do not have voting rights and are not eligible to compete in Club or inter-club competitions, they are an important part of our community and are expected to uphold Club values and follow all rules and regulations.
Applications must be supported by two current Club Members.
All applications are reviewed by the Board of Management before being approved.
A valid Working With Children Check is required before your membership can be finalised.
