Membership Information
CLUB OPENING HOURS
The Club is open 5am to 10pm every day.
OFFICE HOURS
The Office is open Fridays 9am to 5pm and every second Sunday, 8am to 11am during Patrol Season.
ENTERING & EXITING THE CLUB
If you are wet or sandy, please use the WET ENTRANCE at the side of the Club to protect the heritage front doors and floor from wear and tear.
CHANGEROOMS
To support environmental sustainability and help manage Club operating cost, members are asked to keep showers to a maximum of 3 minutes.
GYMNASIUM
Membership is available to Active (15yrs +) and Associate members. The membership runs annually from the 1st May to 31st April. Members 15-17 years old must complete a gym induction with the Gym Manager before use. All gym users must comply with the gymnasium rules. Breaches may result in membership suspension.
Membership can be paid for via the SLS Member Portal and please notify the office to grant you access.
- Active Member (18+): $250
- Active Member (15-17yrs): $110
- Associate Member: $350
LOCKERS
Email info@bondisurfclub to enquire about locker availability.
- Locker: $70
- Locker Renewal: $60
VISITORS
Visitors are not permitted in the gym, steam room or change rooms. Violation may result in revoking access for the accompanying Member.
LOST PROPERTY
Items are stored in the box opposite the steam room and cleared each Thursday when they will be donated to a local charity.
THE SCENIC LOUNGE
The Scenic Lounge is available for hire for private events. Please visit the website for more information.
ELECTRONIC ACCESS
Members receive an access tag for authorised areas. Replacement tags and bands are available from the office for $30.
PERSONAL EFFECTS
Surfboards, bikes and other belongings must not be stored or left anywhere in the Club
CRAFT STORAGE
Members who represent the Club in competition may apply for storage for boards and skis. Please refer to the Member Handbook for more information.
BONDI SURF CAM
Check real-time surf conditions via a live stream from the front of the Club.
BONDI SURFER
The Bondi Surfer is our monthly newsletter, we also send out a Bondi Surder Brief weekly with updates of key events and dates.
PARKING
Patrol Days
Only members rostered onto patrol and display a Patrolling Member parking sticker may park in the 8 designated spots in front of the club (7.30am - 6pm).
Clearance Request
At times, parking spaces may be cleared. If asked to move your vehicle, you must do so immediately.
Parking Stickers
Available to order via the SLS Member Portal and collect from the office.
- Active Patrolling Member: $15
- Member: $50
Waverly Council Beach Parking Permits
Active Patrolling members are eligible for discounted unlimited parking in Queen Elizabeth Drive.

Patrol Logs
Regularly check your patrol hours to ensure the log reflects the hours you have patrolled. Report any discrepancies to the office via email within 2 weeks of the patrol date, include patrol name in the subject field and cc the Patrol Captain.
SOCIAL
Bottles
Sunday afternoon social drinks in The Scenic Lounge from 5pm to 9pm. Friends, family and children are welcome.
Other Events
Trivia, comedy nights, speed dating, Christmas parties and themed Bottles nights are held throughout the season. Keep an eye on The Surfer for updates.
