Registration Instructions
This is the second and final step for renewing your child with Bondi Nippers. Once you have submitted your renewal using the instructions below, we will review your request and you will receive an email when it has been approved.
REGISTRATIONS FOR 2026/27 WILL BE CLOSING ON FRIDAY 21ST AUGUST (UNLESS PLACES FILL EARLIER)

A parent or carer is, or used to be, a member of Bondi Surf Club (including registered Nipper Parent/Carers)
We have created a family group for yourself and your child so you can renew all your memberships at once. If we have missed anyone from your family group, please email us at nippers@bondisurfclub.com.
To finalise your registration, you will need to:
- Log into your own SLS Hub account
- Renew your own membership (if you haven’t done so already)
OR
Pay the Nipper Parent / Carer fee if you are not a current member of the club (note, you only need one Nipper Parent / Carer registration per family) - Renew your child’s membership
Detailed instructions are below.
- Go to hub.sls.com.au
- Enter your username and password and click [Sign In]
- If it has been more than 30 days since you logged in, a verification code will then be sent to your email address. Enter that code to proceed.
- Choose “Renew Family Membership” from the Action Required tile on the Dashboard
- Select “2026/2027” from the Season dropdown
- Select the family members you would like to renew. At least one parent or carer must be registered for season 2026.
- Tick to recognise and accept the Declarations
- Click [Next]
- Select the appropriate renewal fee from the parent or carer dropdown
- Select the appropriate “Renewing Nipper” option for your child: $170 for your first child in nippers $140 for each of your second and third children in Nippers $0 for your fourth child in Nippers.
- Don’t select any of the Add-on Fees as none are relevant to Nippers
- Click [Next]
- View a summary of the fees you will pay
- Select [Card]
- Enter your payment details
- Click [Pay]
A parent or carer is, or used to be, a member of another surf club
To finalise your child’s Nippers registration, you will need to:
- Do a full or partial transfer to Bondi
- Log into your own SLS Hub account
- Pay the Nipper Parent / Carer fee
- Renew your child’s membership
Office staff will create a family group linking you and your child for ease of future renewals.
Detailed instructions are below.
- Follow these SLS Hub instructions
- To do a full transfer to Bondi Surf Club: choose “I want to leave … and transfer to Bondi”.
- To remain a member at your existing surf club: choose “I want to remain at … and also transfer to Bondi”.
- Go to hub.sls.com.au
- Enter your username and password and click [Sign In]
- If it has been more than 30 days since you logged in, a verification code will then be sent to your email address. Enter that code to proceed.
- Choose “Renew Family Membership” from the Action Required tile on the Dashboard
- Select “2026/2027” from the Season dropdown
- Select the family members you would like to renew. You will need to select both the parent or carer and the child.
- Tick to recognise and accept the Declarations
- Click [Next]
- Select the appropriate renewal fee from the parent or carer dropdown:
$30 Nipper Parent / Carer - Select the appropriate “Renewing Nipper” option for your child:
$170 for your first child in nippers
$140 for each of your second and third children in Nippers
$0 for your fourth child in Nippers.
- Don’t select any of the Add-on Fees as none are relevant to Nippers
- Click [Next]
- View a summary of the fees you will pay
- Select [Card]
- Enter your payment details
- Click [Pay]
Neither parent or carer has ever been a member of an Australian surf club
To finalise your registration, you will need to:
1. Create a SLS Hub account for yourself
2. Register yourself as a Nipper Parent / Carer
Then
3. Log into your child’s SLS Hub account
4. Renew your child’s membership

- Go to hub.sls.com.au
- Select [Sign Up]
- Create a Username and click [Next]
- Input the requested details including your First and Last Names, which should be your formal legal names – no nicknames/preferred names (you will have an opportunity to add preferred names later).
- Create your password then click [Sign Up]
- A verification code will then be sent to your email address. Enter that code to proceed.
- The next screen will show two options. Hover over the “I am a brand new member joining a club or other organisation for the first time” tile
- Select “Proceed to Join Form”
- Select Bondi from the club dropdown
- Select “I am an individual looking to join a SLS Club”
- Click [Next]
- Enter your details
- Click [Next]
- Enter your contact details
- Click [Next]
- Tick to recognise and accept the Declaration
- Click [Next]
- Select “Nipper Parent / Carer” from the dropdown.
- Click [Next]
- Don’t select any of the Add-on Fees as none are relevant to Nippers
- Click [Next]
- View a summary of the fees you will pay
- Select [Card]
- Enter your payment details
- Click [Pay]
- Go to hub.sls.com.au
- Enter your child’s username and password and click [Sign In]

- Select “2026/2027” from the Season dropdown
- Tick to recognise and accept the Declarations
- Click [Next]
- Select the appropriate “Renewing Nipper” option for your child:
$170 for your first child in nippers
$140 for each of your second and third children in Nippers
$0 for your fourth child in Nippers.
- Don’t select any of the Add-on Fees as none are relevant to Nippers

Frequently Asked Questions
Your child should have an account from previous seasons but if not, you can follow these instructions to create one for them and then renew them:
Create an SLS Hub account for your child:
- Go to hub.sls.com.au
- Select [Sign Up]
- Create a Username for your child and click [Next]
- Input the requested details including your child’s First and Last Names
- Use your own email address here (it can be the same as the one on your account)
- Create a password then click [Sign Up]
- A verification code will then be sent to your email address. Enter that code to proceed.
- The next screen will show two options. Hover over the “I am a current or past member of a club” tile”
- Select “Proceed to Member Verification”
- Enter your child’s details and select “Confirm”
- Confirm where you would like your verification code to be sent
- Receive a verification code via email or text message
- Enter the code and select “Verify Code”
If you have U6 children and/or U7-U14 children who did Nippers with us last season, yes – you can register them all in the same process.
If you have U7-U14 children who are new to the Club, we ask you to wait and register them when we open up registrations to new U7-U14 nippers on 29 July.
Yes! Your email address can be used for multiple accounts.
No, if you have already filled in the form for your U6 Nipper you don’t need to do it again. You can move straight to renewing your U7-U14 Nipper on SLS Hub.
No, if you have already registered as a Nipper Parent / Carer when you registered your U6 Nipper you don’t need to do it again. You only need one parent or carer registered per family.
When setting up their SLS Hub account, you need to use the name that is on their identity documents, for most kids this is their birth certificate.
We can add their preferred name to their account once you have submitted their registration and then we will use that name in our day to day Nippers communications.

No, not necessarily. To date, we have not required Nippers parents to become members of the Club.
In general, you would have done your Bronze Medallion with us or gone through the Associate Member application process to have become a member.
We do have a few volunteers who have General or Nipper Parent memberships. We have dropped the price of these to $30 to match the new “Nipper Parent / Carer” registration option.
You will know if you are a member of Bondi Surf Club as you will have already received emails from us this year asking you to renew your membership!
A membership with Bondi is either $125/year (Active Members), $360/year (Associate Members) or $90/year (General Members) so if we haven’t asked you to pay that recently, you’re likely not a member.

Yes, you still need to either become a member of Bondi Surf Club or register as a “Nipper Parent/Carer” with us. You can have membership at multiple surf clubs so you can keep your existing membership if you like.
You can transfer to Bondi Surf Club by following these SLS Hub instructions.
To do a full transfer to Bondi Surf Club, choose “I want to leave … and transfer to Bondi”. To remain a member at your existing surf club, choose “I want to remain at … and also transfer to Bondi”.
Follow the instructions for “My child is 5 and at least one parent or carer is a member of an Australian surf club (not just Bondi)” to register your child.
Contact us at nippers@bondisurfclub.com to get your old membership reactivated so that you can register as a Nipper Parent / Carer.
