Surf Rescue and Resuscitation

Surf Rescue and Resuscitation is a core component of surf lifesaving that combines practical rescue skills with emergency care training. Participants learn how to identify and respond to aquatic emergencies, perform safe rescues using lifesaving equipment, and provide immediate first aid and resuscitation to people in distress.

This competition provides an opportunity for SLSA members to demonstrate in a competitive manner some traditional rescue and resuscitation techniques used in SLS.
