Competing for Bondi

Competing for the Bondi Surf Bathers' Life Saving Club in surf sports offers athletes the opportunity to represent one of the most respected and historic surf lifesaving clubs in the world while developing their skills in a supportive and high-performance environment.

Athletes benefit from experienced coaching, a strong club culture, and the chance to train and compete alongside dedicated surf lifesavers and elite competitors.

Representing Bondi also provides a sense of pride and community, connecting competitors to a long-standing tradition of excellence both on the beach and in the surf.

Competition Eligibility

To compete in SLSA carnivals, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be financial and proficient for the current season SRC / Bronze Medallion.
• Meet the minimum patrol hours required for the competition season (January to December): a minimum of 25 hours for Active Members and a minimum of 12 hours for Reserve Active.
